Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Timeo Sdn. Bhd. ("Timeo") governing your access to and use of the Timeo web app at timeo.my, the Timeo customer app, the Timeo Staff app, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you accept these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@timeo.my if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Plans and payment
Paid plans renew automatically for the selected term (monthly or annually) until cancelled. Fees are charged in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) via Stripe, Billplz, or iPay88. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.
4. Customer responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful activity or to infringe rights of others.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Services.
- Upload malware or attempt to breach our security.
- Send unsolicited marketing through Timeo-operated channels.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of data you upload (business info, customer lists, photos). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Services for you.
6. Bookings between customers and merchants
Timeo provides the technology to connect customers with merchants. Merchants are solely responsible for the services they offer. Timeo is not a party to any service agreement between a customer and a merchant, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, or availability of any service listed.
7. Cancellations and no-shows
Cancellation, rescheduling, deposit, and no-show policies are set by each merchant and displayed on the booking page. Please review them before confirming a booking.
8. Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime on the web app and mobile APIs but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
9. Intellectual property
The Services, including the Timeo name, logo, and software, are owned by Timeo Sdn. Bhd. and protected by Malaysian and international law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Timeo brand.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that pose a security, legal, or financial risk.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is capped at the fees you paid Timeo in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
